The Illusionists will be hitting the stage in the Delta for a short period of time, but that does not mean their performance will be anything short of amazing. On Thursday evening starting at 7:30 p.m., this magician act right from Broadway will be at Delta State’s own Bologna Performing Arts Center, and you don’t want to miss out!

The Illusionists-Live From Broadway could be performed by any of these eight very talented illusionists which include: Dan Sperry The Anti-Conjuror, Kevin James The Inventor, Ben Blaque The Weapon Master, Colin Cloud The Deductionist, Jeff Hobson The Trickster, Andrew Basso The Escapologist, Yu Ho-Jin The Manipulator, and Jonathan Goodwin The Daredevil.

The New York Times has coined the Illusionists as “a high-tech Magic Extravaganza” while others have said they are “Houdini times seven!” The Daily Telegraph’s review of the Illusionists says, “It’s deliciously, self-knowingly over the top and brain-bending spectacular—genuinely satisfying family entertainment that should not be missed.”

The Illusionists-Live From Broadway travel performing shocking and amazing acts on stages all around the world. Some acts include grand illusion, mind reading, levitation, disappearance, and even a full view water torture escape! Andrew Basso can hold his breath for over four minutes and attempt to escape from the cell he is trapped in underwater. Illusionists Harry Houdini and many others have influenced these acts and performers. They don’t stop there but instead take it to another level with newer appealing visuals, which puts a contemporary twist on their acts.

Students, people from Cleveland and the Delta don’t want to miss out on their chance to see this exciting performance here at Delta State’s very own BPAC for one night only. Tickets are still available, but may not be for long, so purchase them now while you can.
