Sincerely, Confused

Hey Dishin’ Dirt,
I have this situation, and I have no clue what to do about it!
So I have been seeing this guy for about a year and a half now,
and we haven’t established what we are. We do relationship things,
but I get jealous when girls are all around him!
Technically, we aren’t together, but we are together
if that makes sense. I don’t want to blow up on him
or accuse him of falling around with other girls, but what I am to do?

Sincerely,
I Am TIRED of Being Confused

Rebecca Carroll’s Response: If you have been with someone for that long of a period
but are unsure where you both stand, then talk to him.
You don’t have to blow up on him or accuse him of anything.
Tell him you want to talk about where you both stand.
Let him know how you feel about your relationship and about the girls.
If he really wants to be in a relationship with you, then he will say so when you talk to him, but if he tries to act shady or tries to make out like your accusing him of things,
then maybe it’s time to take a break. In a relationship,
you should always make sure how you both feel about a situation and each other.
You can’t continue to be with someone who you are not even sure if they are with you.
My advice is to just talk to him and see how that goes. Good luck!

Alecia Wilson’s Response:

Dear Confused,
I would ask him outright if he considers what you have a legit relationship.
If not then do not put all of your eggs in one basket.
Branch out a bit (nothing too dramatic) and see how he likes that.
