My head throbs as I wipe away my tears

Those restless words just echoing in my head

As I fall to my knees I wonder why I am here

And this pain I feel, because of something I never said

How do I tell your or make you see

After apologizing for a crime I did not commit

That I would not say something I did not believe

Or do anything that would hurt our friendship

You did not know the pain that filled me

when I learned what you thought I said

They agony I feel is something you can not see

Because it tortures me inside my head

The walls I built around me are too high to climb

So you knocked them down instead

A friend like you is hard to find

So I won’t loose you over words I never said
