The Delta Statement

Avery Wall
Avery  is a junior English major from Greenwood Mississippi. A little known fact about her is that back in elementary school, she used to hate reading. Of course, as she grew up and started reading on her own, she discovered her growing interest in pleasure reading which lead her to choose her current major. Despite taking 17 to 18 credit hours, she is working as a softball team manager and a Resident Assistant in Brumby Castle. The main downside of this workload? She doesn’t get to visit home very often. When she first arrived at Delta State, getting lost was the only challenge she faced (she's bad at directions). Three years later, she has found her way and her self.
