Kole Oakes
Kole Oakes, 25, is from Batesville, Miss., and studies English education at Delta State University. He is currently a senior and will be graduating fall 2018. Once a DSU alumnus, Kole plans to begin his journey as a high school English teacher in Jackson, Mississippi. Along with teaching, he would like to be more involved in the political literary sphere. Kole is the Delta Arts Editor of DSU’s The Delta Statement. Having interests in literature and music, Kole enjoys reading and writing poetry, listening to records, producing noise music, and spreading communist propaganda.
