Vorris Williams, DA Journal Editor
Vorris Williams is a junior at Delta State University from Rosa, Mississippi. He graduates in 2023, with a double major in English and criminology. With this degree plan, he plans to apply for a head position as a corrections officer. He has confidence that his current experience in the field will allow him to be “more empathetic to the inmates that he will work with.” Williams cares for life in general and enjoys being around the helpful people of Delta State. The articles he plans on writing exhibit this care by involving rehabilitation and aftercare of the prison population.
