Simone Jackson, Sports Editor
Simone is the new sports editor for the Delta Statement. An English major with a concentration in philosophy and a minor in coaching, she is a native of Gulf Coast, MS. After graduation, she plans on teaching high school and coaching. Simone enjoys living in the Delta because it reminds her of the Gulf Coast, only without the beaches. In her free time, she likes drawing, reading memoirs, and watching shows like Hannibal. She has a special interest in Egyptian mythology and has tattoos of Egyptian iconography.
