Jamelia Mason, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Jamelia Mason (she/her) is a senior at Delta State. She is originally from Clarksdale, Miss., but went to school in Tunica, Miss. Jamelia was initially an elementary education major, but now majors in business administration and minors in English creative writing. Jamelia is a Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Delta Statement. She is also an RA for the Lawler Harkins dormitory on campus. Jamelia has six siblings who are all boys. In her freetime, she likes to go window shopping around TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or Ross. One hobby she would love to pick up is sewing. The two items on the top of her bucket list are to visit Jamaica and play on Broadway in the musical “Chicago.” Jamelia Mason is an fun, outgoing woman who plans on opening up a publication company upon graduating in May 2024.
