Joanna Johnson, Editor-in-Chief
Joanna Johnson (she/her) is a senior creative writing major with a minor in criminal justice at Delta State Univ. from the town of Natchez, Miss. She has roots in South Carolina, but moved to Mississippi at a young age. Joanna has a passion for print and broadcast journalism alike, with dreams of pursuing a career in Saint Louis after graduating in the spring. While her original draw was to broadcast journalism, through college, she developed a love for written journalism as well. Joanna has many written works under her belt, including several works published in the Delta Statement school newspaper. Outside of writing, she is a member of the Kappa Epsilon chapter of Phi Mu Sorority and works as a bartender at 301 Bar and Grill in downtown Cleveland. In her free time, she cares for her cat, for whom she once threw a birthday party with nearly thirty guests in attendance.
