Shamyiah Williams, Publishing Manager
Shamyiah is in her junior year as an English Major at Delta State. She is originally from Memphis, TN and holds close literary ties to the city, writing for a local organization “Stand for Children”. Shamyiah is driven to write to express thoughts and feelings and has done ever since her childhood, she dreams of being a contemporary journalist and hopes her work on the Delta Statement will help get her there. When Shamyiah is not writing or reporting, she enjoys drawing and read vampire stories.
