During the week of Feb. 29 to March 4, The Panhellenic Council held a fundraiser for Anna Claire Stokes, a student who was recently in a major car wreck. Stokes is waiting to be transferred to the Shepard’s Center in Atlanta, Ga., to receive physical therapy to recover from the damages of the wreck.
Currently Stokes is receiving treatment in Memphis, Tenn., where she was airlifted after the car crash Valentine’s Day weekend. The Panhellenic Council decided that the proceeds from the booth should go to help cover the cost of Stokes hospital bills.
“Panhellenic is selling sorority stem glasses, wallets, checkbooks, beanie bags, and mugs,” according to Emily Thompson. “All the money is donated will go towards Anna Claire Stokes.”
