Burn up the Writers

If writing exposed people it would be

illegal.

That’s why we have

editors for our editors.

That’s why it’s all done online now.

They couldn’t burn up

all the paper-

So just press

the delete button-

That solves all

the problems…

If writers expose people,

They get fired.

That keeps a pocket

sewed up-

That keeps us shut up.

Write about sports or music

or something?

Keep what you know to yourself-

And die with it-

be anything you want-

Even the president.

They forgot to mention

You have to lie a lot
