Bread, Bath, and Beyond: Olive Garden Announces Newest Product Line

Fans of semi-affordable Italian cuisine will rejoice at Olive Garden’s newest announcement.

On April 15, Olive Garden announced their upcoming line of bath bombs. Fans of unlimited breadsticks will soon be able to imagine themselves to be a breadstick as they soak in the aromas of their favorite Olive Garden dishes.

Running at only $4.99 each, reviewers of the product say that they’re a “steal,” with one man saying that he no longer feels the need to take leftover breadsticks from the restaurant once the bath bombs become available for purchase.

“Why make a fool of myself trying to smuggle out [breadsticks]?” he said. “I can just buy a couple of these and make my bathroom smell like Olive Garden anytime I want!”

“Flavors”—scents—that have been announced for the initial release are include, but are not limited to, Eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara, Lasagna Frittata, Lobster Shrimp Mac and Cheese, and, of course, their famous breadsticks.

One representative from Olive Garden did caution customers to not get too lost in their fantasies, saying that one tester, who goes by the name “Tiny Tim,” is rumored to have “drank up all the water, [and] ate up all the soap” in initial testing.

“He tried to eat the bathtub, but it wouldn’t go down his throat,” the representative added. “However, he does seem to be quickly recovering, thanks to a revolutionary ‘pizza cure.’”

Of course, Olive Garden will not have the monopoly on food-based bath bombs for long. Rumor has it that the popular soup brand, Campbells, will soon be announcing the release of their own bath bombs, most notably featuring Tomato Soup, for those days full of childhood nostalgia, and Chicken Noodle Soup, just in time for cold and flu season.
