Poetic Statement
They say you should say what you mean and mean what you say.
You can do both, but they won’t hear you either way.
They silenced the noise, but all we did was whisper.
Hot off the press, it’d never be crisper.
Too scared to illustrate, so few words are drawn out
Too weak to vociferate, but they wouldn’t hear the shout.
“Say what you mean,” but they would never say it.
“Mean what you say.”
This is a poetic statement.
