Hadia Zafar, Staff Writer
Hadia, born and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan, is a senior English major who has entered the United States for the first time as part of the international student program at DSU. Hadia finds the education system here in the U.S. not as stressful as in Pakistan. She says her opinions are respected more in group discussions, and the deadlines here are not as rigorous as they are at the universities back in Pakistan. A part of a program hosted in Washington, D.C., Hadia enjoys the life of an international student at Delta State University where she can join campus organizations and do community service. Hadia loves the community of Delta State and how both students and faculty are helpful and kind.
